Cecil McBee is an extraordinarily talented bass player with a wide range in music styles.  Son of  renown Bee Bop Bassist, Cecil McBee.  

Cecil McBee J.R. Has performed with Hubert laws, Angela Bofield, Chico Hamalton, Chanti Moore, and many others on the national level.

He has also performed with many of the top bands in the San Diego area where he now calls home. Some of those fine bands are: The Talk Of The Town Band Featuring Ella Ruth Piggie, Hollis Gentry and Neon, Dr. Chico And The Island Sounds, Fatburger, Fuzzy And The Bluesman, Goldfish and many others.
